Pneumatic atomizing nozzles use compressed air to create very fine droplets within a narrow droplet spectrum. They combine liquid and gas and atomize the medium especially finely – ideal wherever a fine, even spray mist is required.
They come in two designs: internal mixing for water and low-viscosity media, and external mixing for viscous media. Depending on the design, the nozzle draws in the liquid on its own or receives it under pressure. The shape of the nozzle orifice determines the different spray patterns.
